I have been  chosen to take part in Strictly Barclaycard 2017, which is taking place at  The Deco  Theatre on 2nd March 2017. 

This will require me to learn some ballroom dances (Waltz and Quickstep) and to choreograph and perform a freestyle routine with my dance partner  Peter from Step by Step dance school  in front of the public in order to raise funds for the DOT COM Children's Foundation, which educates children on how to stay safe from the dangers of abuse, sexual exploitation, radicalisation and extremism. It promotes children's rights and fundamental British values.

Strictly Barclaycard will require considerable commitment and several weeks of rehearsal. This will probably be one of the  hardest things  I have ever done. 

I will be applying for the Barclaycards £ for £ matching scheme so that any funds that I raise up to the value of a thousand pounds will be  matched  £ for  £ by  Barclaycard, which will double the overall amount raised.
