Story
Wednesday, April 13, 2022 marked the two year anniversary of Husain Bhayat’s death.
Because he died at the beginning of the worldwide Covid pandemic many of his family and friends were not able to mourn him at his funeral prayer, at his graveside or console each other in person. We, his family, would like to honor his life and his life’s work by funding a project that was very close to his heart in his final years.
After retirement Husain Bhayat spent countless hours trying to bring what are the most basic of necessities to the village in which he was born - running water, paved roads, electricity, and food security. From there he moved on to other projects. He had completed working and fundraising for an English medium k-12 school. But the last major project that he was working on was to build and sustain a fully functioning medical clinic and medical school in the village of Mosali, Gujarat, India.
If you would like to honor his memory please considering donating during this blessed month to a cause that is both worthy and that Husain Bhayat supported wholeheartedly and passionately.
