Story
Thank you for supporting me in a cause that truly means so much to my family!
You see stories of children at GOSH and you never really imagine it could one day be your family member there. The charity truly becomes a lifeline, making the hardest moments more bearable by providing the necessities like accommodation next to the hospital so you can be by your little one, which costs the charity around £44/night.
On the 9th of September, I'm taking part in the Thames Path 50K Challenge from Putney to Runnymede. The furthest I've hiked was 26.2 miles and I genuinely couldn't walk properly for a week so just over 31 miles will be grueling for me. However, spurred on by my smiley niece Flora, who has just turned 1. It felt like the perfect time to give back to a charity that gives so much.
I'm raising money to support families who are going through the mill, in crisis, so they can be there with their little one(s) when they need it the most.
