People have always said to me that I'd walk through a burning building to save an animal ...... this is very true! 

So I'm taking part in LAA Firewalk this year to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart. I love my role as a volunteer cat groomer and over the years have seen what amazing work everyone has done to help the animals that come into their care xx

I'm also doing this in memory of my friend Penny Ellway who recently lost her battle with cancer. We had both signed up to do the event last year but we both reluctantly had to cancel.  Sharing a big love of animals ( ok ... admittedly crazy cat ladies! ) I know she would have been so proud to have been apart of this xx 

The money raised will help to support the lost, abandoned and relinquished animals that come into the Centre. It will help to provide food, veterinary treatment, toys, a warm bed and a safe and loving place to stay until they find their new forever home.
