Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be raising money for stroke association to support them & raise awareness about the stroke.
I will be riding solo 77 miles along the North Norfolk coast line and Norfolk countrysideThe first day will take me from Kyng's Lynn along the north coast passing: Hunstanton, Holme-next-the-Sea, Scold head Island National nature reserve, Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakaney, Caly-next-the-Sea, Salthouse, Weybourne and finally Sheringham covering 50 miles.
The 2nd day is a bit shorter heading from Sheringham to Norwich via Cawston covering 27miles.
I will be riding to remember my mother, Lubomira Galova, who died of stroke at the young age of 41 leaving behind her two teenage daughters and her husband. It was a big change to our lives and even though it happened so many years ago we remember her every day.
Stroke is one of the biggest health challenges of our time. It is the third largest cause of death in the UK, killing three times as many women as breast cancer and twice as many men as prostate and testicular cancer combined.
For people who suffer from stroke the speed of help can mean the difference of saving the life. It is important to learn the sign of the strokes and how to act in such situation when you witness it. It is important to teach others, including your children, how to act in such situations.
This campaign explains how to recognize stroke. Please take 5 min to watch it and read about it:
Thank you again for reading my page. Any donation will greatly appreciated.
