We undertake global conservation work to ensure people and nature both thrive

Story

Hello to all my friends!

On February 14th the Chinese lunar calendar rolled into the Year of the Tiger. Unfortunately, the plight of wild tigers doesn’t call for much celebration. Three subspecies have been driven to extinction in the past century alone and experts estimate there are as few as 3,200 tigers left in the wild.

The good news is that together we can secure a future for these magnificent big cats. Populations of Tigers in India have successfully been doubled (to approx 1400) through WWF initiatives and it is a relatively straightforward method to replicate. The WWF aim to double the world population of wild Tigers by 2022 ( the next year of the Tiger) but need funding to ensure this happens.

To help the WWF with this amazing challenge I am joining HSBC's Challenge, the Vertical Rush – a run up all 42 floors of HSBC Headquarters Tower!  The event will take place at 5:30pm on Tuesday 23rd of March and I will be running full speed up to the roof of the building from the ground floor!

So if you think they are cute and want to see them alive in the future please help me with this fund-raising event!

Many thanks!
Gabriel
