We enable physically disabled people to to enjoy inclusion through technology

Story

At the start of the month I visited the fantastic Eurogamer Expo and amongst all the latest games was a gem of a stand that I did'nt expect! SpecialEffect is a FANTASTIC but small charity that helps disabled young people to enjoy computer games, this can be from adapted nintendo Wii's and other main stream devices, switch control, and head mouse through to eye control technology where disabled gamers can play computer games JUST with their eyes!

I have been inspired to try and help but first off a bit more about the charity!

SpecialEffect is setting up the world's first fully accesible games suite at a children's hospice which is going to be great.

Please check out this amazing video to see the inspiration (little Helen) behind their hospice project!

So what are we planning!!

SpecialEffect's theme is Game On for Everyone because they want everybody to enjoy games regardless of their disabilty, so I want as to get as many people on board to play computer games for 24 hours (the Game On 4 Everyone Marathon) from 8PM on the 29th of this month. This can be done on any game and on any system. If possible mostly on xbox 360 or Playstation 3 as people can play together and make it more of a community event.

It would be fantastic if you might consider a donation in support of this amazing charity.

If you would like to take part in the marathon please do contact me at gameon4everyone@yahoo.co.uk
