Thanks for taking the time to check out my fundraising Web page.  The process takes around 5 minutes so is fairly straight forward and does not take too long.  The amount you have sponsored is 100% confidential and will not be posted so any amount is much appreciated - no peer pressure. 

For the second time I am taking part in the New York Marathon next month to raise much needed funding for The Stroke Association.  The charity is very important to me as it has affected close family and friends and as a relatively small charity, is one that needs sponsorship funds.  In 2006 I raised just over £2,000 thanks to many kind supporters and hopefully I shall be able to do the same again this year.  I have posted a picture of my biggest supporter last year.  Thanks in advance for any donation - having done it for two years in a row I promise I shall not be asking you for sponsorship again in the future.  If you can please put in your address it adds 28%.
