Hi my name is Gary Homer, im a father of three living in the Midlands i need sponsors for the following event:

I have been running for just over Two Years and entered various types of events.. from half to full marathons: to the famous tough guy competition in wolverhampton, and now forthcoming  (after my third entry attempt )  the London-Marathon 

So given the chance to run in the marathon (April 2010) which has been a dream of mine from the start, I have decided to make it even more worth-while by running for HELP THE HEROES charity.

Although i have no Military back ground myself, I still admire the sacrifice and bravery of the men and women in the military forces. On that basis I shall be running the marathon  carrying a 40lb back-pack in an attempt to beat the current world record. 

The record was last set  in 1991 by Paddy Doyle at 4hr 42.44sec
