Designability is a national charity transforming the lives of disabled people and those living with a long term health condition, including dementia. They collaborate with a range of university academic departments around the UK (including Bath) to design appliances and devices to help those affected by these conditions.

Kate & I lost our dear Mum/Gran just last year who suffered with severe dementia towards the end of her life. Designability's innovative designs stimulate brain activity and make the lives of dementia patients more comfortable.

Kate & I have signed up for Bath Half Marathon together which is on the 4th March. We shall be running to raise much needed funds for this very worthy charity who can help other lovely people like our dear Doris.

Firstly, we want to remember this special occasion, shortly to be my 50th Birthday. Secondly, it's a great focus for us both to train together for and Kate is currently studying at Bath so it is a charity very close to her heart too.
