I am running the london marathon for Anthony Nolan trust who supply much needed bone marrow transplants. Recently I lost my wife Lisa through leukaemia, she was only 22 and had the most amazing fight and spirit. I met Lisa jan 2004, we dated for 9 weeks and she was diagnosed with leukaemia. She had intensive chemotherapy which initially put her into remmission. January 05: lisa started feeling unwell again, she got checked out and her illness had returned stronger than before. The doctors gave her 3 months to live so we decided to get married.

After the wedding on april 17th 2005, Lisa tried a new drug which did not work as well as hoped and again the doctors said it would be about 3 months.

Lisa remained so strong throughout her illness she was truly an inspriation to those who loved her her. I am running this marathon for my lisa. She will be on my shoulder screaming at me when I start to slack but as God is my witness ,I will crawl over that line if i have to!!!! Lisa was one of the most generous people I knew so please think about her when u donate and think of the many lives you will be saving when you're keying in your credit card number.
