We tackle the causes of hunger today to give children a healthy tomorrow

Story

Hola and thanks for coming this far.  Hopefully you will go the next step and pledge some money!

So, yes, I'm doing the Iceland Trek. For those of you who don't know the place it's pretty hilly and likely to be wet and cold. I will be crossing rivers by foot and camping all week!

I've chosen Action Against Hunger  (http://www.aahuk.org/) as they are one of the leading international organisations in the treatment of severe malnutrition. AAH's Scientific Committee pioneered the therapeutic milk formula currently used worldwide by the international aid community to treat acute malnutrition. As a result, the global mortality rate of severe malnourished children under the age of five has been reduced from 25% to 5%. They provide training in nutrition, water and sanitation, food security and health care to ensure self-sufficiency and to assist communities in rebuilding.

It's a bit of an impersonal way of raising money, but it saves me weeks of chasing people to cough up their dosh, and the hassle of managing currencies from around the world.  This site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action Against Hunger UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Any amount will make a difference !!

Many thanks - you are great!
