We back brilliant, pioneering research to prevent, detect & treat all cancers

Story

We are fundraising in memory of Gilbert Cowlishaw: husband, brother, gentleman & friend. Gilbert passed away on Wednesday 18th August 2021, full of days, aged 89.

Gilbert was a great man who loved his wife Sylvia, his Christadelphian brothers and sisters, all his family and friends, especially God and his saviour Jesus Christ. His sweet and gentle nature drew people to him - it was always a pleasure spending time with Gilbert. He always yearned to learn more, especially about technology, and never felt he was too old to search out and discover new things. A great life lesson for all of us.

Towards the end of Gilbert's life, the doctors found he had lung cancer, a disease suffered by many. There is much to find out about this disease for future generations.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to this important research, so that others in the future may benefit from this work.

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the Australia Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF).

Thank you so much for your support!
