Since leaving the Corps I have been humbled by the efforts of the Corps who have been constantly deployed in Afghanistan.  As well as the tragic story we hear from the media there a many many young men being injured with often life changing injuries on an almost daily basis.

To support those that need  care on their return, Kersty and I are running the Taunton Half Marathon on the 5th of April any money that we raise will be donated to Help for Heros a charity that does a great deal to help the guys and girls.  No competition between us (haha), our aim is to complete it in under two hours (not bad for a 43 year old, 15 stone ex mortarman and an accountant).
