We raise money to support our small orphanages in Nepal

Story

Most people can figure out that I am not a big fan of shaving, and in a spur of the moment challenge set by my colleagues at the UKRMC I will be shaving off my beard in support of Child Action Nepal.

It may not be the most daring or inventive of fundraising activities, but as it garnered instant (i.e. money on the table!) and generous support from the UKRMC already, I am continuing to seek further donations for this great charity which is changing the lives of some Nepali children.

Child Action Nepal is a charity whom I first worked with in 2004 when I spent 3 months in Kathmandu as their first volunteer.  Since then the charity has expanded into 2 orphanages and now looks after 40 children.

Child Action Nepal need your support in order to be able to continue educating and developing these children who have been dealt a tough hand in life.

As Child Action Nepal is a low-scale charity your donations will go straight to the orphanages themselves, all administration costs are donated personally by the trustees.

Many thanks for your support.
