You'll see from the photo (with my son who came along to support me) that I've got the medal. What a great event and an experience not to be forgotten.

The charity is close to my heart as I've experienced the loss of loved ones to cancer and they were fortunate to receive care from local Hospices and I know how valuable the support given to patients and family actually is.

In addition to this fundraising page I've raised at least another £400 so close to £800 and hopefully more to come. As my employer doubles all that I raise I'm ot too far off my target of £2000 so fingers crossed I can get there.
