Story
We did it! The Graduate Engineers survived the 12hr Challenege- Thanks to all those who donated. We are to receive some company match funding so have managed to raise over £2500!
Disaster has struck and you are the first person on the ground…what do you do?
Our team of 4 (Andrew, Carla and Libby from Lifescan Scotland and Steve from Landrover Jaguar) will encounter some of the extreme situations faced by aid workers in the field over the 12 hour RedR Disaster Relief Challenge in Hertfordshire in May.
The money raised will help RedR to continue to train, recruit and support relief workers in the UK and around the world, improving the quality and coordination of humanitarian responses to natural disaster and conflict.
RedR is the leading training and recruitment charity working in the area of international disaster relief over the last 30 years. The aim of taking part is to raise funds for RedR to continue the excellent work they are doing. We also hope to raise awareness of the charity and learn more as Engineers about some of the issues that relief workers face.
