The money raised from this event, helps to transform the lives of children in East London, in an area where 55% live in poverty.  Poverty is the root of many social problems.  Homelessness, drugs, crime and broken families are all issues that many young people in East London have to deal with. 

Community Links tackle these issues head on through practical projects that engage young people in positive activities with the emphasis on prevention rather than cure. 

Community Links is one of the most extensive youth work programmes in the UK, with more than 3000 children involved in a Community Links project each week, giving them the opportunity to achieve.
