Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We (Michelle Reid, Nicola Armstrong and Kelly Gleadow) will be running the GNR again this year in memory of Graeme Bell (Tinka).

As you all may or may not be aware Graeme died from a Heart Condition at the young age of 26. This is why we have decided to run for a Charity called CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), which is closely linked to his cause of death.

We will also be holding a Charity night on the 9th October where we will support this Charity. This is going to be held at the Westerhope Excelsior. Please let us know if you would like tickets.

This is something that is very close to our hearts and we really appreciate your support.

We all miss Tinka dearly and by raising money we hope to stop this happening to others and keep Tinka's memory alive.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks in advance

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
