Story
Thanks for visiting my GRIM fundraising page.
Well you maybe asking what am I taking part in now. After a short rest because of a blood clot in my leg from a flight back from America. My next challenge is to complete the GRIM 8 mile off-road course on the warm morning of the 6th December in Aldershot.
To give you a rough breakdown on what this consists of please see the below paragraph taken from the GRIM website.
“This land is used to test Army vehicles so expect it to be interesting! You will reach a long hill shortly after the start before descending again eventually reaching a water filled ravine. You will run on over puddle-strewn paths before having to crawl under camouflage netting. You'll eventually reach some man-made mounds before arriving at and running through some rather large puddles. Expect to get very wet! You'll run on to the fast vehicle driving circuit where it is rocky underfoot. This brings you to some more large areas of water and the finish area.”
So not as straight forward as a 10km run roundHyde Park. Along with trying to keep my head above the muddy puddles in Aldershot, I will be trying to raise some much needed money for the Children’s Trust in Tadworth.
So if you would like to sponsor me that would be fantastic and much appreciated by myself and the Children’s Trust.
If you would like some further info on the Challenge or would like to know how to get there, so you can laugh/support me on the day please go to the following website.
