Well, we had a lovely day cycling to Windsor. My final time was 2 hours 12 minutes and 47 seconds. It would have been a bit shorter but I got caught behind a caravan (as you do with holiday traffic) and the final distance turned out to be 38½  miles, not 37. So thank you so much for your support (I really mean that) and I’m sorry if you didn’t win (Erminia got 2 hr 12 mins exactly and kindly put her winnings back into the fundraising pot).

Your money HAS gone to a good cause and I think we’ve raised nearly £700 which is fantastic! Remember, bowel cancer is one of the most curable cancer if caught early. We just need to get more people (particularly blokes) to act immediately on the symptoms, rather than wait. Bowel Cancer UK work very hard to get this message across and it does save lives, I promise you.
