Story
A small group of Pilgrims walked about 120 miles from Guildford Cathedral via Rochester to Canterbury, sleeping in churches and walking the Pilgrims' Way.
We all arrived safely and on time for evensong at Canterbury on Saturday afternoon. It has been a truly memorable journey which challenged and rewarded all who took part. Nineteen people walked into Canterbury some joining us for the last stretch. The youngest pilgrims Gus and Dylan (4 and 6) the oldest 92.
Thanks for the hospitality of the churches of St Barnabus Ranmore, St Mary the Virgin Godstone, and St Bartholomew Otford, Alison Evans (B&B), the Friars at Aylesford, and Charing Methodist Church.

We are raising funds for Guildford Cathedral. The Cathedral provides a beautiful setting for the arts, music, education, and as a place of prayer and contemplation. Most importantly it is a quiet place of stillness where people of faith or none can find peace and spiritual renewal.
The only funds the cathedral receives are from charitable contributions and what it raises under its own steam. Whoever you are, please find it in your heart to support this place of peace in a world that needs such places now more than ever.
