Story

Hi there.

So....Great North Run!  I must be even more bonkers than when I decided to do the Moonwalk!  This is the second time I've done the Great North Run....the first being 10 years ago.  I think it's taken me ten years to recover from that experience!

But, for my sins, I've decided to give it another go!   This year I'll be running for Zoe's Place - a local baby hospice in Middlesbrough.  Some of you may know that I have recently started working as a volunteer for Zoe's, it's an amazing place full of special little people.

For information on the charity, please see their website - http://www.zoesplace.org/home.html

This is the last in a series of challenges I set myself for 2010, the one which all of the others have been working towards.  So the more money I can raise - the more all of the hard work and pain (yes, more pain!) will be worthwhile.

Please give generously so that these special little people can continue to have a happy home-from-home in a caring, fun and safe environment.

About the charity

Zoe's Place is a home from home for babies/infants who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. Zoe's Place offers palliative, specialist respite, and end of life care for infants from birth to five years old. We receive very little funding and therefore rely on donations/fundraising.
