Story
Hi,
On 25th April 2010, I will be running/jogging/walking/crawling all 26 miles of the Virgin London Marathon. Having completed 2 half-marathons now, I thought that this year would be the year that I took on the Big One.
As a part of this mission, I aim to raise £1800 on behalf of the Royal British Legion; a charity that safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. They are one of the UK’s largest membership organisations and recognised as custodians of Remembrance. They also run the annual Poppy Appeal.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. Any sum (no matter how little or large it may be) will be greatly appreciated by myself, the Royal British Legion and our servicemen/women.
Thanks,
Gurm
