Story
Thank you for visiting the 'Hannah's Dragons' page. Just in case you don't know either Hannah or her dragons, let me enlighten you a little.
Hannah is our lovely little daughter, who was born with several forms of serious epilepsy. This has caused her to have severe learning difficulties and some physical impairment. Hannah is loud, funny, loving, caring and mostly a bit of a monkey - but she has a great sense of humour and is larger than life! For the last four years, Hannah has had the privilege of attending the National School for Young People with Epilepsy, which (as the name suggests) is the UK's leading provider of education, care and health services for young people who have a form of epilepsy or other neurological conditions. These services are not only unique, they are essential.
The Dragons are approximately 20 stout, hardy men and women - mad enough to endure a day of torturous, grueling dragon boat racing, on behalf of Hannah and the NCYPE, in the hope that our kind friends will support our worthy cause. Some of us are overweight, some decrepit, the majority are unfit and to a man are land lubbers - but rest assured we will be flying the red pennant . . . . no quarter given!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND GENEROSITY - WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL.
