Liz's mum has gallantly fought this disease and received a bone marrow transplant in the winter of 2009, and we wanted to make sure that we give back. Few people know about this disease despite the fact that it is as common as some types of leukaemia and just as devastating. The AAT is dedicated to changing this by funding research and treatment. The AAT is also dedicated to the provision of support for patients and their families in the form of our AA Support Group.
