We are having our mid-life crisis......

As you move closer to your middle-age you start to do strange things - some people buy fast cars or big motorbikes, others take-up extreme sports or climb large mountains.....Martin and Alison have chosen to accept a rather testing challenge....

The bad news is that we have made a silly bet. We thought we could beat the time of a much younger colleague that ran the London Marathon last year. The good news is that children with cancer and leukemia will benefit from all of our hard work.

To help motivate us to keep going to the finish line, we would kindly ask you to sponsor us - any amount will help as we have pledged to raise a combined total of €4,500 / £3,000 in donations. Wir befinden uns in unserer „Midlife Crisis” ...

Wenn man etwas älter wird, fängt man an, komische Sachen zu machen. Einige Leute kaufen sich schnelle Autos oder Motorräder. Andere wählen Extremsport und klettern auf hohe Berge. Martin und Alison dagegen haben eine ziemlich harte Herausforderung angenommen.

Die schlechte Nachricht: Wir haben eine etwas törichte Wette angenommen. Wir dachten, wir könnten schneller laufen als ein (viel jüngerer!) Kollege, der im letzten Jahr am London Marathon teilgenommen hat.  Die gute Nachricht: Kinder, die Krebs oder Leukämie haben, profitieren von der Aktion.
