Herts Community Trust Cardiac Rehab & Heart Failure Teams work to educate patients in living a heart-healthy lifestyle so they can live as healthy as possible in order to self manage their condition.

Part of our patient demographic include heart failure patients and we often see the effect that heart failure can have on patients and their families.

May 7th-13th is European Heart Failure Awareness Week. We want to show our support by walking 9 miles across the Chess Valley - something which some Heart Failure patients may not be able to do in order to raise awareness of the limitations which heart failure can bring.

The core activities and strategy of the Pumping Marvellous Foundation are driven by the needs of heart failure patients, carers and family communities we serve. We get to the real crux of the problems, the problems that patients tell us they have. Our communities are large and we have superb interactions with them, we run the largest Facebook page dedicated to Heart Failure globally so we fully understand the needs and challenges they face. We develop and distribute patient information to the vast majority of NHS Heart Failure Teams in the UK.
