Story
As some of you know, I help an orphanage in Nepal & Mexico to pay for school fees for their children. With Nepal's recent earthquake we are donating part of the money raised to the Nepal emergency disaster relief appeal as well. This year I completed the 9th Sacred Mayan Journey, honouring the Mayan ancestors. The Mayan people of Mexico used to row across the sea and back (60km, 12 hours in total) in their wooden canoes to Cozumel Island to worship Ixchel, the goddess of fertility.
I did this challenge in memory of my cousin Juan Jose who lived in this beautiful part of the world and left so much positive energy and happiness to people less fortunate than us.
The event took place Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd May, 2015. Thank you for your valuable help in providing kids with an education and a bright future.
Thank you so much, Saul
