We support people facing serious illness to shape their own care.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

First of all many thanks to those of you who have sponsored us so far, and your support is much appreciated.

Well the training has started, out with the mars bars and in with the fruit with most rides so far in the rain with hopefully some sun shine in the coming weeks. We have to be able to cycle around eighty miles a day, so our aim now is to lose pounds in weight and to think about climbing those hills, and pass on the cream teas.

We are five colleagues who work for Royal Mail , Mark Henson, Paul Jobling and  Adrian Owen along with Adrian Heppenstall a Lymphodema specialist  who are undertaking a cycling challenge in March 2008 from Lands End to Greenford around 360 miles, with two colleagues Graham Henson and Brian Offord in support. We are not going to set a target because our goal is simple, for every hundred pounds raised  it will give someone a nights specialist care in our community, and we are asking for your support. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Friends Of Michael Sobell House will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now and we can all make a difference to someones life.!

Many thanks for your support.
