I will be ATTEMPTING the RBLR 1000 on June 20th 2009

This is a world record saddlesore attempt backed up by the Ironbutt Association.  The current record is 156 concurrent riders covering 1000 miles in less than 24 hours.

On UK roads at 50 MPH average (traffic and fuel stops permitting) this works out at 20 hours on the bike ... not sure if that is a very good idea, but it is for a very good cause!

I'll be taking the northern clockwise loop - up to Fort William, the Highlands, Edinburgh and back.
