Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

After the great success of Kilimanjaro last year we have committed to an exciting new challenge.

This year a team of twenty walkers will endeavour to complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge on 27th-28th September. For those of you not familiar with the event the team must ascend and descend Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours.

Tony Holiday and his team at Mountain Adventures http://www.mountain-adventures.co.uk/ our key charity partner  has very kindly given support in a number of crucial areas for the safe and effective success of our challenge.

The Walkers,

Martin Hamilton, Phil Hands, Kate Moyce, Chris Hands, Matt Halford, Hugo Hanlan-Lloyds TSB,  Mark Hamilton, Robert Forty, Paul Trenfield-Scania, Mike Wood-Prodrive, Matthew Reeves-Prodrive, Ben Russell-Prodrive, Adam Constable-Prodrive, Mark Paterson-Prodrive, Marcus Tinsley-Prodrive, George Corfield-Prodrive, Jimmy Binns, Ben Kench - ABC Training, Derek Hately.

The Support Team;

Bill Antill, Jon Hubble and KLM Travel.

Our challenge coincides with Macmillans biggest annual fundraising event, their "Coffee Morning" http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Microsites/WBCM/WBCM.aspx . We will be leaving Prodrive, Fen End on the morning of Friday 26th for a midnight start at Ben Nevis. Before leaving for Scotland we will host a Coffee Morning at Prodrive (friends and family welcome to wave the team off).This theme will continue throughout the 24 hour event with a "Coffee Morning" on each summit.

We would like to offer our thanks to all of those who are supporting this challenge. Special thanks go to Landrover, Subaru and KLM Mountain Adventures.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
