For our sins, a group of us at Hull Forward are donning our running shoes and taking part in the 2010 'Hull 10k Race for All' in aid of local charity, The Daisy Appeal. The Daisy Appeal was launched in 2002 to raise funds to build a medical research centre. It continues to raise funds to support and supply further equipment for the Centre which will benefit patients living in East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire and has raised over £6 million to date.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. For those of you who would like proof of our efforts, or if you simply enjoy a good laugh at other's expense, the Hull Forward 'running' team can be seen making their way alongside the Humber every Monday and Wednesday in various states of distress.
