(We have finished our cycle ride, but are still trying to continue to raise money for sport relief.  It is very humbling to see just how generous you have all been, many thanks)

My name is kristen, I am one of 10 soldiers and officers who wish to take part in this year's sport relief - we are currently serving in Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan.  Our home unit, 11 Light Brigade Headquarters, is usually based in Aldershot, Hampshire.

I put it to the team that we complete a combined cycle and row home - all 5,800 Kms of it!  The team consists of personnel who work in the iHUB and the Brigade Commander's outer office, within the Headquarters at Lashkar Gah.

Each person will complete 60Km cycle a day for 9 days, then a combined cycle/row on the final day...taking us across the channel and back into Aldershot - Home of the British Army!!
