Story
To achieve days of approx equal length the back up van will be met at strategic locations. Each days walk will begin where we finished the night before .
Day 1 – After dipping our toes in the water on the west coast we start in the shadow of Ben Nevis heading up Glen Nevis then head out into the wilderness for an overnight stay at Corrour halt on the west highland line (no vehicular access). Day 2 – From Corrour halt we head south east to Loch Rannoch and follow the glen to Kinloch Rannoch Day 3 – Kinloch Rannoch to Blair Atholl. Continue down the glen to Loch Tummel then over Tay Forest Park to Blair Atholl Day 4 – Blair Atholl to Linn of Dee near Braemar following the famous classic crossing through Glen Tilt to White Bridge and the Linn of Dee along the southern boundary of the Cairngorms Day 5 – The toughest day of the walk from Linn of Dee to Glen Clova over another classic crossing by the drovers route “Jocks Road” to Glen Doll climbing to 920m and surrounded by Scottish Munros.
