2014's Trailwalker is upon us. We'll be booting-up for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust once again.

We will be cruel to our feet and knees, and through our cruelty they will know who we are. They will find the evidence of our cruelty in our disfigured bodies at the end of an epic 100kms of continuous walking through the South Downs.

And our podiatrists won't not be able to help themselves but to imagine the cruelty we have endured, and the state of our boot heels. They will be sickened by us, and they will talk about us, and they will fear us. And when the podiatrists close their eyes at night they'll be tortured by their subconscious for the evil we will have done to our feet.
