I'm fundraising for t1International because their work in accessing affordable insulin and diabetes supplies is important in making a difference for type 1 diabetics around the world. My campaign's goal is to raise awareness and support the fight against the abuse of power coming from large pharmaceutical companies.  

This cause is important to me because, being a type 1 diabetic myself, I face the stigma of diabetes. I worry that my next shipment of sensors won't arrive on time. I worry about my insurance coverage in university. I feel the anger of the diabetic community every time we learn of another diabetic who died because of insulin rationing or improper diabetes care due to expensive supplies. This must end.
