Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

For those who are unsure what we are doing, picture this.....

9 ladies from the West coast of Scotland, all working together at Inverawe Smokehouses decide to join 15000 other men and women for a little stroll around Edinburgh.  Well, the little stroll turns out to be a half marathon and starts at midnight on Saturday the 20th of June.

Now this is no normal walk, all walkers will be strutting their stuff in a BRA!! Yes the men too!! Young, old, male, female, small, large, everyone will be showing off their highly decorated bras and raising money for a great cause.

As part of our fundraising efforts, we held a charity dinner on Saturday the 2nd of May, along with a raffle. We are very proud to announce that the grand total raised was £1,010. Photos are on online!!

We also held a ceramic painting day on the 23rd of May at Dalvich Village Hall. Everyone loved paiting the ceramics, which they got to take home and the Inverawesome girls were there dishing out teas and coffees along with our home baking, rasing just under £200.

Our second event was held on the 30th of May at Taynuilt Village Hall. We held a quiz, a charity auction which followed with a dance. The total raised was £1093.40 and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended and also to everyone who donated auction prizes. Pictures have now been added.

There are so many people who are helping us to raise funds for a great cause, supplying food for the dinner, prizes for our raffle and auction and many other ways, so we would like to say a big THANK YOU to;
