Story

10 members of the Welsh Guards will conduct an endurance triathlon from their current Theatre of Operations in Bosnia, to their base in Westminster, central London. This will require a 1300 mile cycle going through the Alps and eight European countries. They will then sea kayak the 26 miles over the channel and on arrival at Dover conduct three consecutive marathons over three days as they move to London. For more information visit www.ironguardsman.co.uk

All ten members of the team are aware of what is required and have been preparing accordingly. It will be a formidable test of a human being’s mental and physical endurance and their ability to work as a team whilst under pressure.

The aim is to raise money for 3 charities, including Everyman Testicular Cancer, and any money donated would be hugely appreciated. The gift aid can be claimed back as well, so for every pound a further 28% can be claimed by us. Many Thanks from THE IRONGUARDSMAN TEAM
