My beautiful son Jack Peter Richards passed away on the 30th May 2009 aged 18 years.  This[past year has been the most difficult time for Phil, Ollie, Jacks brother, and myself.  On the 29th of May this year some of Jack's friends, Ollie and myself are taking part in a sponsored parachute jump at Netheravon Army base in Salisbury to help raise funds for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust as they have been very supportive to us all.  We want to raise as much as we can to help a charity that has become very close to our hearts.

Well we arrived to do the jump at Netheravon Army base on the 29th May but the weather was very poor. We all paid and trained in the hanger, watched the video and then unfortunately we were told to re-arrange as the weather reports were not good.  So, nothing we can do about it.. we have rearranged for Sunday 1st of August, so lets pray for good weather! I am sure Jack will be sky diving with us! x

WE DID IT! Sunday 1st August. The cloud cover was very low but after lunch had lifted and the sun came out so everyone managed to jump.  I was a bit scared as I was on the edge of the plane but did it! My instructor, Mikey, said to me once the parachute opened and the noise level had dropped that Jack was with us. It was quite emotional but i am glad I did it.  Ollie thought it was awesome! xx Thank you sooo much everyone.
