Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I'm running the London Marathon for the second time this year in memory of my lovely fiancé Paul, who very sadly passed away on 1st August 2007. Paul was a kind, thoughtful and wonderful man whose humour and optimism were irrepressible even in the most difficult times. His passing has left a huge gap in the lives of his family and friends - a gap that can never be filled.
I'm running (well, okay, walking, interspersed with an occasional bout of light trotting) to raise money for The Anthony Nolan Trust, which so far has helped to give over 5,800 children and adults with leukaemia and related blood disorders a new chance of life by managing the UK's most successful bone-marrow register and undertaking research to improve the effectiveness of transplants.
I hope that through raising money for The Anthony Nolan Trust it will help people in similar positions to Paul.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Anthony Nolan Trust gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thanks for all your support.
