Guys Tower ABSEIL
in aid of
CANCER RESEARCH UK
organised by
CITY OF LONDON FRIENDS OF CANCER RESEARCH UK
At around 1pm on Saturday 12th September 2009, we are going to be abseiling 450 feet down the outside of Guys Tower (Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital), to help Cancer Research UK raise valuable funds to help the fight against cancer.
Friends and family are very welcome to pop along and watch our daredevil stunt and to cheer us on!
There is a designated outside supporter area, but please remember that there will inevitably be a degree of ‘waiting around’ at the event and that all spectators should dress appropriately for the weather!
How to get there
Guy’s Tower,
Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital,
London, SE1 9RT
The venue is a five minute walk from London Bridge Tube and Overland stations. Upon leaving the station there are sign posts to direct you to the hospital, please follow these to the main reception. The hospital is also situated approx 15 minutes from Monument Tube station. For 24 hour travel information, contact London Transport on: 020 7222 1234 or www.tfl.gov.uk
Donating through 'Justgiving' is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Please sponsor us now...thanks!
