We work in developing countries to support people with deafblindness

Story

As some of you know, on Sunday the 16th of January 2011 I will be running all 26.2 miles of a marathon.

As this is my first ever full marathon I thought I’d make it a bit more interesting and throw in 30 degrees heat, blazing sunshine, and 20 million live spectators and so, I have chosen to do it in my home city of the last 2 years; Mumbai, India.

I’ve chosen a very special charity to run for, Sense India, who support the development of people who are both deaf and blind (http://www.senseintindia.org) and I hope you can all dig into your pockets after Christmas and make a small donation to the cause.

I can’t guarantee a top 3 winning time but I’ll make sure I cross that finish line with as little sunburn as possible!

Thanks all and happy New Year

James
