Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
All of us at Monyhull Church have been seeking to give all we can to our building project so that we can transform our existing facilities in order that (1) the church has a much more suitable facility to meet in and house our expanding ministries, and (2) we have the resources with which we can better serve and reach out to our local community.
So far the church has raised over £630,000 towards a project that will cost £1.3m. We are currently in the process of arranging a bank loan which means we'll need a further £250,000 before building work can begin. All of us in the church are therefore spreading the word about the project and hoping that a few of our kind friends might support it.
To kick-start the public aspect to our fundraising campaign, Rosey, Dan and I risked sub-zero temperatures and stormy waters at a whitewater rafting centre in North Wales on 6 December. Although it was absolutely freezing, we survived and had a lot of fun in the process! If you'd like to watch the video, please use the following link:

Although we've just about thawed out, the need to raise money and reach our fundraising target remains. As such, it would be fantastic if you could support us. A lot of small gifts from interested friends and supporting churches really can make a significant difference to our building project.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way: Monyhull Church gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
I'd be delighted if you can help. I've set myself a target of raising £500 from family and friends and would be very grateful for any donation you are able to make. If you want to see more about the church and the project please go to: www.monyhullchurch.org
