Thank you for visiting our Dystonia Society Fundraising Page
In Memory of Daniel John Jules Aldous
Danny died 15 years ago at the age of 14 from a rare and severe form of Dystonia.(1)
His Mum, Jan Aldous, completed a 30km walk along the RiverThames from Marlow to Reading on Sunday 24th August to commemorate what would have been Daniel’s 30th year.
Other members of the family completing the walk were Jon Aldous, Mike Aldous, Catherine Bray, Helen Aldous Mike Bray and Helen Parker.
Danny is remembered with love and admiration for his courage and determination, his love of sports, his amazing sense of humour and his sociable and extrovert nature.
He was a Watford F.C. season ticket holder and despite his ill health attended most home games. He was an enthusiastic member of Marlow Air Scouts and from the age of 11 he attended Lord Mayor Treloar College in Hampshire.
As Danny's passion was football he would have been thrilled to see the photos currently on the Watford FC website www.watfordfc.com in the feature entitiled Remembering an Old friend.
Our family are grateful for the support that the Dystonia Society offered in very difficult circumstances and would like to raise money to support the Society's continuing work with individuals and families whose lives are affected by this condition.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Dystonia Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support
