As a result of both my mother, friends and other family members having been diagnosed with cancer in some way shape or form I came to the conclusion that one sufferer was one too many. However the good news was that I could actually do something about it and thats why I have decided to raise money through all the races I am running in this year. At the moment I have entered nine in total and they include 10k's and half marathons. My hope is to run in races a mile for each year of my Mums age (77) for a start, anything above that is a bonus. So if you would like to help me raise a load of money into the fight against cancer it would be more than appreciated. All you have to do is to part with some cash and I'll do get all the aches pains, blisters and chafing! To date I have raced 134.7miles in fifteen races. So as a result I have now passed the second of 95 which is the distance from our house to my parents. Now anything above and beyond that is a bonus!
