Hi Everyone

I completed the 4th marathon. The Great North Run 2009. It took me just over 3 hours as I got injured and my knee started playing up after around 5
miles.

My brother also completed his and it took him around 2 hours.

For those of you who have not known me that long, my Father died due to kidney related problems in July 1991 in the Renal Unit at the Leicester Genaral Hospital. He was 54 when he died. He left my mum who was 45 years old at the time, My brother who was 7. This year (2009) had he lived he would have been 72 years old.  

Thank you to all who have sponsored me so far and with your help I have raised over £800.00 so far for Kidney Research UK. Your support does spur me on to the finish line even when my knees are giving way.
