Story
Thank you for your support in the last year helping me on to a personal goal of running the London Marathon for the second time and helping a great cause "Action for Children" along the way.
I finished the Marathon in 4 hours 24 mins - 20 mins or so longer than I had hoped for but there are plenty of excuses !
I have had a busy year of running with a 10k, two half marathons and finally 26.2 Miles of the London Marathon. While I have done the running, there is still a lot of work to do, some will say the hardest bit - and that is collecting the sponsor money !
The easiest way to do this is through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action for Children, the children's charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
I will post some photos from the Marathon as they come through to my blog as well as some good luck messages you have been kind enough to send - feel free to comment !

We also have a winner in my Lucky Sock Action, I wont publish her name until I have permission (!) I am sure you will provide them a good home - the auction raised £38 !!! as well as some excellent publicity for the Charity, thank you very much There is a link on my blog
Expect a call from me soon !
If you would prefer to send you sponsor with a cheque, it should be made payable to "Action for Children", I will also gift you a "giftaid" form and show you my medal !
If you sponsor via justgiving and use your "paypal" account, you will be put in a draw for £20,000 - you don't even need your card to hand !
I would also like to thank Action for Children for their support, before, during and after the Marathon, a great Charity to run for an I hope to be able to help you again in the future.
Thank you once again, if you haven't sponsored and would like to - its never too late, I must save my biggest thanks for my wife Sarah for putting up with me, my faddy eating and non stop Marathon drivel !!!
Thank you
Jeff
