As some of you may be aware last summer i was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This was a really scary distressing time for me but luckily i have amazing friends and family and now the ms society.

Everyone always asks what is Ms, well easiest way to explain is its a condition that attacks my nerves.

I struggle to do normal daily tasks just walking to a friends leaves me in pain and exhausted. I struggle to do simple things like standing to wash up, and I am sooo tired all day everyday. If that wasnt frustrating enough for me when I also have a family and a house to run with a child who always wants to do an energetic activity haha I now also have had to deal with injecting myself daily to try to reduce the amount of relapses I have in my lifetime. Lets hope it works :-)

 

I am having to adapt to doing things a new way or slower which is so frustrating but it means i am able to do other things like socialising and all the fun things. 

The truth of it is no one knows if or when I will feel slightly better or if and when I may get worse and this is the scariest part for me. The not knowing. I like to think I stay as positive as I can and doing things like this skydive is 1 example of how much I want to do amazing things and try to challenge myself as much as possible.

The MS society are great they are always there even just for a chat they really are like friends and they help in so many different ways. 

I have decided to do as much as I can while I can, I now have the chance of a lifetime to do this amazing skydive and i would love to give something back to the ms society while doing it as they really are fantastic. Not only are they there for people with ms but their friends and family aswell.The support they offer makes this scary journey a lot more brighter :-)
