We fight for the hope of young people to create a society built for all children

Story

I'm running a half Marathon for The Children's Society on the 5th of October 2008.

The Children's Society helps children in many different circumstances, such as young carers, refugees, children affected by adult substance abuse, they fund children's centres, provide post adoption support and help disabled children and young runaways.

Running half a Marathon is no easy task, especially for someone who doesn't do much exercise. So please whether your donation is big or small it will be much appreciated in helping to raise funds for The Children's Society.

Thanks a lot, Jenny

The BUPA Great North Run will be live on BBC One from 9.30am until 1.30pm.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Children's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
